Welcome to www.tribebags.com which is provided by Tribe Bags Pte Ltd (“Tribe”). By accessing and/or using any part of Tribe’s website and/or making any online orders, you shall be deemed to have accepted and to be legally bound by the terms and conditions (including our Privacy Policy) shown below (the “Terms and Conditions”). If you do not accept any of the Terms and Conditions, do not use Tribe’s website.

References on www.tribebags.com to “we”, “us” and “Tribe” are references to Tribe Bags Pte Ltd.

Product Details & Availability

To provide an enjoyable shopping experience, Tribe endeavours to provide users with reasonably accurate measurements of our products and their colours. However, we are unable to guarantee that the colour of your Tribe purchase will be exactly as represented on your computer screen. This is due to natural variations in colour-dyed leather and potential differences in colour displays on various computer monitors.

Tribe’s products are subject to availability. If any of our products are out-of-stock at the time of receiving your order, we will inform you via email and your credit card or PayPal account will be credited accordingly. We make no representation that our products will be restocked.


Tribe endeavours to list accurate product pricing and shipment expenses. However, there may be instances where there are errors in price listings due to human error which lead to misrepresentations. In such cases, we reserve the right to correct any incorrect price listings without notice, and are under no obligation to process orders where there is an incorrect price listing (either in respect of a product or shipping expenses). Promotional offers may be withdrawn at any time at our discretion.


We encourage all customers to check that they receive a confirmation email after placing an order with us. Please note that a confirmation email is not an acceptance of your order, but an acknowledgment that we have received your order.

Please also note that email spam filters may block any incoming email from us. If you do not receive an order confirmation email from us, please contact us.

Orders are considered accepted and completed once dispatched. Tribe will send you a notification email once your order has been dispatched. Orders placed may be cancelled or changed up to the point in time that the order has not been dispatched. Tribe will not accept cancellations or changes once an order has been dispatched.

Tribe reserves the right to refuse to accept your order if we are unable to obtain payment authorisation, face shipping restrictions, items are out-of-stock, or otherwise at our discretion.


Payments are processed at the time of ordering and may be made with Visa, Mastercard, American Express or through a PayPal account.

All credit card payments are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If payment authorisation is not obtained from your card issuer, Tribe reserves the right not to accept your order.


Tribe delivers locally (In Singapore) and internationally, and aims to dispatch orders within three (3) working days of receiving an order. However, this is not guaranteed and is an estimate only. Delivery timeframes shown at check out are also estimates and are not guaranteed. Delivery times are subject to how quickly our respective delivery services operate. To provide a buffer for delivery times, we advise customers to place orders early during peak periods like Mother’s Day and Christmas.

Deliveries of Tribe products must be signed for at the nominated delivery address and cannot be left at other locations. Tribe is not responsible for orders which are lost or stolen after delivery.

Please note that the number of items placed per order is subject to packing and shipping constraints. If more than two bags are purchased per order, Tribe may have to break up your order into separate shipments.

Please note that we do not offer split-orders or order delivery to multiple locations.

Returns & Exchanges

Tribe takes great pride in providing quality luxury products to our customers. We offer refunds, store credits and exchanges on the conditions set out below.

If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you may return your item(s) within 30 days of the shipment date to receive a refund or store credit for a future purchase (note that the amount refunded or credited to you, as the case may be, will be less the shipping expenses associated with your order, as such expenses are not refundable). Tribe will also gladly exchange your item(s), but the shipping expenses associated with your order will not be refunded, and you will be required to pay for shipping expenses associated with Tribe shipping the exchanged item(s) to you.

Items returned and received by us within 30-60 days of the shipment date, are eligible for a store credit only (the amount credited to you in respect of your order will be less the shipping expenses which formed part of the order). Store credits may be used for future purchases on Tribe’s website and have no expiry date. You will be required to pay any price differentials and shipping expenses in respect of orders made with your store credits.

Items which are discounted by 40% or less are eligible for refunds and store credits as set out above (note however that Tribe cannot exchange any such items). Items which are discounted by more than 40% are not eligible for a refund, store credit or exchange, and all such sales are final.

Items returned to Tribe for a refund, store credit or exchange must be in their original purchase condition, and must include the original product packaging with all original tags attached.

The purchase of e-gift certificates and items purchased using e-gift certificates are not eligible for refunds.

Tribe reserves the right to refuse to process a refund, store credit or exchange if any of the conditions of our returns & exchanges policy are not satisfied.

Credit card and PayPal refunds may take several days to process and depend on the processing time of your credit card issuer or PayPal (as the case may be). Tribe, unfortunately, has no control over the processing time of refunds.

If you wish to make a return, please contact us to receive a return/exchange form. Returned items are to be sent to Tribe via an insured and reliable delivery/courier service. Tribe does not bear any responsibility for lost packages which we do not receive.

Intellectual Property

Acceptance of Tribe’s Terms & Conditions means that you agree that all copyright, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights in and relating to our website are owned by Tribe.

Privacy Policy

Tribe’s Privacy Policy is part of the Terms and Conditions of this agreement. By agreeing to the listed Terms and Conditions, you are also accepting the terms of our Privacy Policy shown below.

Tribe understands that maintaining the privacy of your personal information is important to all our customers. Maintaining your trust and ensuring that you feel assured of the security of your personal data is important to us.

Policy Coverage

Tribe’s privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) covers Tribe’s use of personal information obtained from customers and users of Tribe’s website and services. Our Privacy Policy does not apply to companies which Tribe does not control, or to individuals not under Tribe’s employment or management.

Tribe collects personal information fairly and lawfully, with the utmost regard for its security. Your personal information is collected when you place an order, buy a gift certificate or register for any services offered by Tribe. The information obtained is used to enable Tribe to process and deliver orders, to provide superior service, and to engage in promotional and marketing communications with you.

To process and deliver an order, Tribe will need to retain personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, shipping and credit card billing addresses. However, we will take precautions to ensure that your personal information is secure from any unauthorised parties.

Please note that by using Tribe’s website, you are consenting to the collection of such information by Tribe.

Sharing of Personal Information

Tribe will not disclose your personal information to any third parties, except where: you have consented to the sharing of your personal information; the disclosure is required by law; the disclosure is made to our agents or contractors who perform business tasks on our behalf; or where disclosure is made in connection with contests where we publicly disclose the name, city and /or country of contest winners.

Electronic Communications

Tribe sends out electronic communications via email newsletters regarding new products, promotional offers, contests, and other updates. Your personal data is only used by us for marketing purposes, and will not be shared with any third-party agencies. If you prefer not to receive such communications from us, please unsubscribe from our mailing list by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ link displayed in our email newsletters.


A “cookie” is a feature built into your web browser that identifies your computer, but does not personally identify you. Tribe uses cookies to provide data on the web browsing patterns of our users, shopping preferences, and previous purchases, to help provide a better shopping experience. Cookies only provide aggregated data and are not used to collect any personal information, nor are they used in combination with personal information you have provided us. Should you be uncomfortable with receiving cookies, you can adjust the settings on your browser to not automatically receive cookies, or to reject cookies. Please note that if you have opted to reject cookies, some features of our website may not be available for your use.

Security /Online Ordering Security

Tribe cannot ensure the absolute security of any information you provide as the secure transmission of personal information over the internet cannot be 100% guaranteed, so the transmission of your personal information is at your own risk. However, our website utilises SSL encryption technology which encrypts all personal information which we collect from you. Information collected is stored securely and not made available to the public.


Copyright in the information on Tribe’s website is owned by Tribe. Our website or any portion thereof may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied or otherwise used for any purpose that is not expressly permitted by Tribe.


Tribe reserves the right to make amendments to our Privacy Policy at any time, effective upon posting on our website. We encourage you to remain updated on the terms of our Privacy Policy. Tribe’s Privacy Policy was last updated on 27 July 2011.

No Warranties

Tribe’s website is provided on an “as is” basis without any express or implied warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tribe and its suppliers disclaim all warranties (including, but not limited to, warranties of fitness for purpose, title, merchantability and non-infringement of proprietary or third party rights). Tribe makes no warranties as to accuracy or reliability.

Tribe makes no warranties that our website will operate error-free, or that it or the server are free of viruses. Tribe is not, and will not be held, responsible for any costs incurred by visitors to our website in connection with servicing, restoring or replacing data or equipment. Use of Tribe’s website is at your own risk.

Tribe’s potential liability (in respect of our website, product or otherwise) shall be only as expressly provided in these Terms and Conditions and any liability shall be limited to direct loss or damage only. Tribe shall have no other obligation, duty or liability whatsoever in contract, tort (including negligence, breach of statutory duty and any other tort) or otherwise.

Limitation of Liability/Disclaimer of Damages

Tribe and its suppliers shall not, in any circumstances, be liable to any user or third party for damages whatsoever resulting from the use or inability to use our website or to make purchases.


You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Tribe, its officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any claims, actions or demands, including but not limited to reasonable legal and accounting fees, alleging or resulting from your use of our website and/or the contents of our website or your breach of these Terms and Conditions.


Tribe reserves the right to make amendments to our Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes are effective upon posting on our website.


Our Terms and Conditions and all purchases shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
